Dillon Consulting Limited is a well established, employee-owned, professional consulting firm which operates across Canada and internationally.  We provide a wide range of consulting and design services related to the infrastructure, real estate, resource, industrial and government sectors in Canada and abroad.  We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Water/Wastewater Master Planning Specialist in one of our Ontario Offices.

Responsibilities:

·         Management of Environmental Assessments and planning projects for water and wastewater infrastructure, with a focus on regional size systems

·         Leadership of project team activities

·         Development and enhancement of client relationships and business growth

·         Provision of technical training and professional leadership to staff

Qualifications:

·         At least one post-degree degree in planning and/or engineering

·         Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or planner, or eligible to be licensed in Ontario within six months

·         Minimum of 8 years' experience

Experience:

·         Experience in the assessment and planning of treatment and pumping projects for small and large-scale water and wastewater facilities

·         Knowledge of emerging technologies for water and wastewater treatment

·         Demonstrated experience in conducting meaningful public consultation programs

·         Proven abilities in multidisciplinary teamwork, client and industry relationships, and regulatory agency consultation

·         Thorough knowledge of relevant Canadian federal and provincial regulations including the Planning, Safe Drinking Water and Environmental Protection Acts

·         Strong communication, report writing, organization and interpersonal skills
