Job Description/
Responsibilities 		He should be a team player and should demonstrate leadership and technical skills in identifying, building and managing a team of professional software developers, systems analysts, web developers, business intelligence & data warehouse developers and database administrators. He should be a key player in contributing innovative ideas to improve the performing excellence of the IT department in particular and the Organization in general. He should collaborate with other IT sections to improve overall efficiency of the IT by understanding each others goals of achievement and contributing for the same. The person should define goals with deadlines and work towards achieving them through excellent planning and coordination of his team keeping an eye on the Organization’s Strategic long and short term goals. He should have excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills. He should play important role in innovation and promote the usage of newer technological solutions that either eliminates gaps in existing business processes or improves the business processes that aid Organization operational & cost efficiency. He should have previously been involved in scoping software products preferably ERP for business requirements and implementation with clear financial budgets and implementation deadlines. He should be a candidate who has an eye for quality. He should implement stringent application development, implementation and change control procedures. He should contribute to identifying and achieving KPI’s that spell efficiency of operations and customer satisfaction.
Profile 8 years with at least 5 years in a Process / oil & gas industry. Good management skills and experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the roles of a software developer, business and systems analyst. He should have good understanding and past work experience in full life cycle analysis and development of business applications. He should have sound understanding of the business processes in a process industry in the areas of manufacturing, plant maintenance, procurement, inventory management, marketing, finance and human resources. He should have at least one full cycle ERP implementation experience, preferably Oracle e-Business suite. He should possess technical skills in Oracle database, Oracle development tools, Oracle e-Business technical architecture with sound knowledge of business intelligence and tools. He should have good project management skills preferably with a certification.
