PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

· Working as a Project Manager with PAKTEL GSM (Operator) (Owned by China Mobile), based in Pakistan & working in Central Region from April 2005 to date. Major contributions so far are as under :-

Ø Incharge & leading the Project Team for PAKTEL GSM roll out project in Central region, consisting of a target of more than 2500 cell sites.

Ø Financial re-conciliations & settlements done, with all the vendors & contractors for contracts closure, before the PAKTEL sale to China Mobile, by Millicom International Cellular (MIC) in Januray 2007.

Ø Represented central region, to the potential buyers in December 2006, during the sell off process of PAKTEL.

Ø Implemented procedures for Site Inspections for Civil Works including foundation & tower inspections.

Ø Time to time Site Inspections for Telecom equipment installations both outdoor & indoor (RF & Microwave).

Ø Commissioning of Ericsson Minilink Microwave & Alcatel Microwave System.

Ø Commissioning of ZTE BTS equipment.

Ø Assuring the implementation of PAKTEL Quality Standards on sites.

Ø Preliminary & Final Acceptances of sites.

Ø Management & co-ordination for telecom equipment issuance to contractors.

Ø PAKTEL-Telenor site share project in Central Region.

Ø Completed the initial PAKTEL GSM Dual Band project in Lahore, which included the upgradation of sites from 900 MHz to dual band sites, it comprised swapping of antennas alongwith installation of 1800 BTS cabinets & feeder cables for 100 PAKTEL GSM sites in Lahore.

Ø Continuation of converting single band 900 MHz sites into dual band 900+1800 MHz sites, using indoor flextronics diplexers to increase traffic carrying capacity.

Ø Co-ordination with PAKTEL O&M & Transmission departments for media clearance & transmission trouble shootings.

Ø Incharge of region’s warehouse, for equipment movement & deployment to all parts of the country.

· Worked as a Project Engineer with Builders Associates ( Pvt.) Ltd. in Lahore (Pakistan) from January 2004 to April 2005 :

Ø Worked as a Project Engineer and assisted the Project Manager on construction site of, Maple Leaf Cement Factory - White Cement Plant, in Iskanderabad, District Mianwali for execution of various construction activities and civil works on site including construction of various types of footings and foundations. Also responsible for the co-ordination between head office and site.

Ø Participated actively in the bid preparation for 6700TPD Maple Leaf Grey Cement Plant , D.G Khan Cement Plant, Bestway Cement Limited.

Ø Besides the above mentioned projects, also assisted the Managing Director and CEO on other ongoing projects of the company, such as multi-storeyed residential flats, water pumping stations and infrastructure development projects etc.
